Rates for "The Chalet"
(A separate two-bedroomed guest cottage )
The rates depend on the season, the length of stay and number
of guests.
Bookings made more than two weeks in advance of
arrival date require a minimum stay of 5 nights.
'Last Minute' bookings for less 5 nights
can be requested within two weeks prior to arrival date.
The tariff includes generous provisions for self-serve Continental Breakfast for the first day, including a
selection of cereals, milk, juice, fruit bowl, yoghurt, fresh bread, butter, jams, tea and coffee.
Titirangi Supermarket is only a few minutes walk through a rainforest trail from 'The Ferns'.
The Chalet is serviced weekly. Please advise when booking if an additional daily
housekeeping service ($25 per day) is required.
Check in 1.30pm - Check out 10.30am unless by prior arrangement. Early check in may incur an additional fee should the previous night need to be reserved to guarantee availability.

14+ nights $150 per night (1-3 guests)

'Rugby World Cup' bookings are not currently available as The Chalet may be advertised for six months rental from May 2011..

Please refer to our cancellation policy prior to
confirmation of your booking. A 50% deposit is required
for stays of more than 4 nights with the balance due on
arrival date.
Cancellation Policy
(1st March- 30th November)
If cancellation occurs more than 30 days prior to
arrival date deposits paid will be refunded
less a 5% cancellation fee for deposits paid by credit card
or bank transfer
If cancellation occurs between 14 days and 30 days in advance
of the booked date, 25% of the total tariff
will be charged plus 5% credit card fee if applicable. If
cancellation occurs less than 14 days in advance of the
booked date, 50% of the total tariff will be charged plus
5% credit card fee if applicable.
(High Season - 1st
December- 28/29th February)
If cancellation occurs less than 6 calendar months in advance
of peak season reservations (December, January and
February)the total deposit is non-refundable unless
another party requires the same total booking dates.
We recommend travel insurance to cover
accommodation costs if unforeseen circumstances arise.
The Ferns Homestay/B&B
We apologise that for the time being' bed and breakfast'
accommodation in our home is not available.
